This walking guide is designed to help locals and visitors explore one of South Gippsland’s most distinctive landscapes with greater understanding and appreciation. It includes a step-by-step guide and map for the Hoddle Mountain Trail.
The Hoddle Range is a remarkable and diverse pocket of native vegetation. For Prom Coast Ecolink, it holds particular significance as the halfway point between the Strzelecki Ranges and Cape Liptrap, and as a vital link in a growing rainforest-to-coast biolink that supports both wildlife and landscape resilience.
