About the event
We are celebrating World Rivers Day by surveying platypus populations in Toora!
One of the best times to see platypus is at dawn. We hope to catch a glimpse of one returning to its burrow after a night's feeding.
What’s better than seeing a platypus in the wild? Sharing the experience with like-minded company!
Here's what to expect:
6:30am Meet at cnr Creamery Valley Rd & Franklin River Road
6:45am Walk to viewing area (access is moderate, with unsealed and uneven surfaces)
