About Tarwin River Forest:

Mountain ash, messmate and blackwood make up the tall canopy. The river, creeks and gullies are filled with ferns, including the critically endangered slender tree-fern. It is home to many important animal species such as the gang-gang, long-nosed bandicoots, Strzelecki koala, platypus, superb lyrebirds, and the powerful owl.

Stuart and Victoria's property is a conservation forest stewardship managed for carbon sequestration, biodiversity, and water. It is one of the largest properties under conservation covenant in South Gippsland.  This forest is unique and endangered.
