About the event
We are proud to host acoustic ecologist, Andrew Skeoch on behalf of the West Gippsland Catchment Management Authority.
Andrew will be presenting at Fish Creek Hall on Thursday 29 October. He will guide you into hearing the communications of nature: developing your listening skills, identifying species by ear, recognising behaviours and repertoire, and finding empathy with the voices of other beings.
Deeper listening also allows us to hear the integrity of entire ecosystems, and reveal what the interactions of creatures tell us about how natural systems function to achieve sustainability.
