About the event
We're partnering with South Gippsland Water (SGW) for a hands-on, family-friendly, morning of habitat restoration along Battery Creek in Fish Creek.
Battery Creek Reservoir sits within the Hoddle Range - the halfway point of a rainforest-to-coast biolink. Together, we'll get 1,000 native plants in the ground, helping to restore vital Wet Forest habitat and build on revegetation already completed.
When: Saturday 8 August, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm, including a BBQ lunch
Where: Meet at 9:00 am at the Quarry gate on Fish Creek Quarry Road - followed by a 1.7km walk to the site through regenerating bush
What to wear: Long pants and sleeves, a hat and sturdy footwear
What to bring: Water bottle and anything else you need for a comfortable experience in nature
